Ron and I have and will continue to volunteer our time and give whatever resources we have, but we can't do this alone. This website, OUR website, really needs to be the collection, reflection an participation of everyone. If you can volunteer any of your time or services to help jumpstart OUR mission it is so welcomed and very appreciated. WE will need web designers, web security developers, fundraisers, marketers, lawyers, accountants, writers, editors, reporters, bankers, consultants, event organizers, support staff, phone support etc.. etc.. etc.. (This list is not a comprehensive list by any means) If you know someone that might be available to help… please pass the word… the more the merrier so they say. If you wish to volunteer please do so freely from your heart and trust all the good you give will come back to you.

Aside from volunteering, we encourage everyone to participate. All business decisions will be presented for peer review and discussion before it is packaged for voting. We hope everyone takes the time to participate.

As you already know I have no great skills, but am interested and willing to help.

bull. I happen to know you have a 100 good skills. One thing I was telling Ron I wanted to add to the site was a section on geo-cashing. If you have any info on the subject point me to it. I just really want to hear what you guys want. What are your thoughts about the direction we should take OUR site.

I want to help in every way I can. I love your vision for this. I will make a list of friends to invite, and also I have a myspace page and will post a blog about this site.

I am interested in advertisement and marketing, but at this time may lack the skills you need....if you have anymore ideas on how I might be able to help let me know. I also have an intrest in event organizing...maybe if you could tell me what kind of events you would like to organize I might be able to help with more ideas on this.

We are going to run a contest this week. I was just drafting an email to send to everyone. $100.00 for whoever gets the most friends to sign up. I want you to get credit for all your referrals. If you send an invite from the “invite” tab on the menu bar you will get credit for all those because we embed a tracking code those emails. If you post a link somewhere on another website, you need to use your referral link in order for the system to track it. You can find your link by clicking the “invite” tab and then selecting “my referral link”. If you use that link you get credit.

I think putting links here to the geo-caching site is a great idea. I will ask Vic to post as to what it is and where to get more information. It is one of the healthy things we do to have fun. It gets you out in nature while looking for the goodies. It also allows you to be involved with a great bunch of people.

It sounds like a lot of fun. I wonder if you can organize your own events.

I sent an invitation to all my 109 friends on facebook. I hope some will join.

I agree in that we are all ONE, all connected. Much closer to one another than many of us think. Like attracts like, and this seems like a powerful way to get that message out to the masses. I would most certainly love to help, as this follows my belief 100%. I have just been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer but the prognosis looks good...I hope to be back in the saddle in no time. Have had my surgery, and start intense chemo in a week or so. I want to help in whatever way that I can in making this really happen. Right now I am in AVP at a college in Cincinnati and am learning creative outlets that will help me better express my wants and needs. These wants and needs are to do with helping people, equality, and making the world/earth a better place to live/breathe/and be. I want to know what I can do for you. I am capable of drawing some things, more earthy and native kinds of pieces. I write all over the place and it is the one skill I have seriously honed over the years and this skill will more than likely take me far and I want to help take this far so if there is anything I can do, just let me know. Just began exploring this site. Sounds like you guys are running along an idea I had recently, called SEED. If you'd like to read some of my writings regarding this, visit http://sophianature.gaia.com/blog What I'm wanting to do with SEED is work in Maine (and allow work to be done in other states and countries) that could help reduce our dependence on big business and gov't. I'm going to be taking graphic design soon so if i learn a thing or two I'll let y'all know.

I enjoy writing and proofreading/editing, as well as offering advice and/or motivation to any and all. If I can be useful, please let me know. :)

I am a bit of a amateur writer. I think a good idea would be to get some regularly scheduled writers submitting pieces on current events, technology, politics, etc... If you get this marketed enough it can get people to come to the site to read their favorite writers. This would produce hits on the site, more membership, and if they are coming to the site just to read the news, there might be an opportunity to charge a monthly access fee. This idea is obviously very quick and concise and in no way thorough, but just an idea to throw out.

We think that is a great idea and if you can help organize this or help in any other way that would be awesome. We are redesigning the home page to incorporate blogs, group discussions, and forum posts that users rate and promote to the home page. So not every post will make it to the home page but really good articles based on user feedback will.

We are also going to develop a section of the site to discuss current events and how these events shape our lives. So this section will diffidently need the writers you described. But how do we get them here? Any ideas?

We are also going to start interviewing various people to discuss subjects that are of interest to our teammates ie current events, new technologies, philosophical views, etc.

There is a lot on the horizon and we welcome all ideas and feedback.

How to get writers here? Not quite sure. I'll have to think about that. When you say interviewing people; how do you mean? As in interviewing a representative about some hot issue?

It could be any subject of interest really with a primary focus on improving the world and our own lives. We would love to interview visionaries, people developing green technologies, self help experts, political activists. It could be almost any subject that is of interest to people.

Our first interviews will be about mediation, discussing the many benefits of meditation, and various techniques. One of our members offered to be interviewed and it is something that can help improve not only your life but the world around you so these are the kinds of things we would like to discuss.

We also have a live video/audio chat that we want to promote to our members who want to lead their own discussions.

, i invited my dearest friends from other sites which have closed down and they didnt come back, ill be asking them why in the next day or two....i know my time has been short and im still trying to wade my self around but will help with what i can....

Hi Cindy, We also have have invited our friends and family. Some have joined and some haven't but even the ones who have joined haven't come back. They can stay on FB all day long though. I don't understand it. Why wouldn't people want to be part of something that is THEIRS even if they don't get involved in anything else... why do they thrive on feeding a website that is making boo-coos of dollars off their activity and keeping every penny for themselves. I don't really understand that?

We want to help change the world and we will hold on to that vision and support those who feel the same. United as a group we could have such a profound effect on this world and bring about much needed change and we know that people are feed up with the current state of affairs. So the question is how can we find the ones who are motivated and get something started.

We are searching for guidance. We welcome any thoughts and ideas... this is after all everyone's website and a shared dream.

Ron & Julie your doing GREAT with the idea....im hearing its more difficult to find our way around here, after all, im speaking for my self, i come from a generation of no computers, but ill figure it out iit just takes me a while to come and go and find where people responded or not....there was a great community called TBD and it was simple, and people were really starting to communicate and great ideas were waving thru it they had over 100,000 followers and a disagreement between two owners shut it down, now it is changed over to the .ning format and i do not like it at all. I dont like to sound like a grumpy old lady who doesnt like change, but it was working and im so tired of haviing to figure out "new" formats to keep up with friends in communications......

We will try to make it easier for people to find and reply to topics. We didn't realize it was difficult but appreciate your feedback because simplicity is King.

The site took a rest for several months as we upgraded to a new system., We came back online in October but didn't make it public notice about it until a few weeks ago. We are ready to proceed. We have a very large community merging with Iparte in a the next couple weeks. The merge will coincide with the release of the 4th video in the Awakening As One trilogy. The Awakening as One community shares our vision which is why it made perfect sense to Uniteand work together for the highest good of the all. Please Vera, you can help by sharing your thoughts and not holding back. This needs to be done together. We all hide inside us and essential part of the solution

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

My future son-in-law, Tony gave us this challange: Put you own name in place of the word, "love" and see if it rings true for you. If it does, you are ONE.... is not, then there is work to be done.

Wondering what happened with this discussion, like so many, have becme inactive.

In my experience with this website... subjects have a life expectancy of the main wall. If the subject drops off the main wall... It looses interest very quickly, much like news media... if it isn't in the headlines on the nightly news then people forget or lose interest.

Yes I want to volunteer, though I don't know what I can do, so I joined other groups, mentioned my skills a little, got no response.These discussin groups seem almost useless, though I see the value in them, tried to encurage more participation. I'm not a professional in any field, though I have helped people with my Intuition and creative healing service which is not an official business, nor do I ask for anything; I love to write, love welcoming people, sharing, offering gentle guidance, have learned some things since coming here. I love to write. Before I say more, I need to reread your posts on what you need. I'd love to host discussions, but have been reluctnt to, seeing how inactive the existing ones are. You have a wonderful site, this is my home, I spend a lot of time here.

Perhaps the whole group and forum thing has lost it's usefulness. Perhaps we have to find a NEW and more engaging way to keep discussions fresh an interesting. Maybe we can problem solve this with a new perspective.

There are some good messages in the groups, it'd be sad to see them go but if they're being underutilized then a change is a practical solution, though I don't know what that would be, but if an idea comes to me I'll gladly share it, and hope others do, too.

Very good ideas here. I'd love to host a live chat discussion about wholistic healing, within that framework I will share various aspects of these concepts and practical life applications, they blend nicely with my "Inner Awareness" service. Many ideas I've shared in other places, I share here. I've done some live chat, and discuss various healing concepts and how to make them work in daily life. Remember I'm no expert but I have helped people, including myself. Improving the Quality of Life is what I like helping others with most. I've had some very good discussions on such topics as how Spirituality fits into our lives, I also love talking about metaphysics and working with energy, and how to make all that work for us. Another topic dear to my heart is helping disabled people. Through Inner Awareness and Creativity, using techniques for anger management and other problems, I've been able to help a few people and have seen amazing results that still have me in awe. I LOVE helping people. A couple of times I got to host discussion groups, in person. My first one was the Best, because I had time to plan and prepare an outline, the 2nd time wasn't so good because I got put on the spot. (Strange expression, "put on the spot, huh?) It was a last minute situation, the regular host was absent due to illness, so I was asked to do it. So, if anyone's interested, I'm here. I'm very humble and have a LOT to Give.

I hope I didn't sound presumptuous about what I can offer and what I've accomplished.
