We would love to interview visionaries, people developing green technologies, self help experts, political activists. It could be almost any subject that is of interest to people. Our first interviews will be about mediation, discussing the many benefits of meditation, and various techniques. One of our members offered to be interviewed and it is something that can help improve not only your life but the world around you so these are the kinds of things we would like to discuss. We also have a live video/audio chat that we want to promote to our members who want to lead their own discussions.
Very good ideas here. I'd love to host a live chat discussion about wholistic healing, within that framework I will share various aspects of these concepts and practical life applications, they blend nicely with my "Inner Awareness" service. Many ideas I've shared in other places, I share here. I've done some live chat, and discuss various healing concepts and how to make them work in daily life. Remember I'm no expert but I have helped people, including myself. Improving the Quality of Life is what I like helping others with most. I've had some very good discussions on such topics as how Spirituality fits into our lives, I also love talking about metaphysics and working with energy, and how to make all that work for us. Another topic dear to my heart is helping disabled people. Through Inner Awareness and Creativity, using techniques for anger management and other problems, I've been able to help a few people and have seen amazing results that still have me in awe. I LOVE helping people. A couple of times I got to host discussion groups, in person. My first one was the Best, because I had time to plan and prepare an outline, the 2nd time wasn't so good because I got put on the spot. (Strange expression, "put on the spot, huh?) It was a last minute situation, the regular host was absent due to illness, so I was asked to do it. So, if anyone's interested, I'm here. I'm very humble and have a LOT to Give. less

I'm not a professional in any field, though I have helped people with my Intuition and creative healing service which is not an official business, nor do I ask for anything; I love to write, love welcoming people, sharing, offering gentle guidance, have learned some things since coming here. I love to write. Before I say more, I need to reread your posts on what you need. I'd love to host discussions, but have been reluctnt to, seeing how inactive the existing ones are. You have a wonderful site, this is my home, I spend a lot of time here.

If the subject drops off the main wall... It looses interest very quickly, much like news media... if it isn't in the headlines on the nightly news then people forget or lose interest.
Would you like to volunteer Ariel?

The more featrures that get added, the slower the page gets. I'm having an awful time with this. Also, those strips keep popping up while I'm reading and usually I can't make them go away unless I reload the page. Can't find the page to report bugs, when I click the link that occasionally is posted, my broswer says I'm not logged in. That's happened with other links, too, so I tried finding what I need without clicking links. I've been here almost a month and really enjoy it. :)

i worked a lot with gifted children for over 15 years .
Only there is one point what people (adults) forget. Their are children, need bounderies etc.
When parents start to behave that their very special, their behaviour is going not the right way.
Just like every other kid, they need borders, discipline etc.
With this in mind, the gifted children are later in life in balance instead of misbehaviour later on.
The gifted children who were treated like any other child, did grow beautifully

In 2009, about 200,000 people around the world joined in a since... moreIn 2009, about 200,000 people around the world joined in a sincere effort to affect our collective consciousness in a positive way. Some of you may have helped make that happen. 2010 brought even more. Some people drummed alone while others gathered in groups large and small but change doesn't come easy. “Easy” rarely allows us to make a transformation. If we want to make a difference, if we want to become different, we have to be stubborn about it until a new way of being is natural.10 Billion Beats is a simple idea. It doesn't have a big budget campaign, media savvy, or corporate sponsorship. It started with just three of us. Then people started telling other people and the word spread. Hope emerged that as individuals we could help the world become a little brighter. Together we did a wonderful thing and we are very thankful for everyone's effort. We continue on a worthy path, to change the habitual patterns of separation between others and ourselves, between our species and the planet that sustains us. So here's the idea.Sound--vibration--provides a doorway in consciousness, a common denominator that without words or melody becomes a pathway in to the deep reaches of our being. Drums sing this universal language; perhaps it is the language of Spirit for it touches something elemental within us and collectively, we pay attention. When I listen to the drums it connects me with the deep states of consciousness within; it connects me with the heartbeat of creation itself and draws me into relationship with Earth. This relationship with our planet is more primal than sharing life with our spouse. Once we approached our Earth with wide eyes, fascinated by every firefly, tadpole, and daisy. We conversed with passing toads and found unicorns in the clouds above our head. Our storybooks were adventures shared by fairies, elves, and frogs that turned into a prince. As children, we drank in our surroundings anxious to learn from–and about–the world we had come here to inhabit, not as observers but as participants. As children, the world was our lover; we cherished every offering it provided and eagerly traded our wonderment for the blessings of creation. In mass, as adult inhabitants, too many have forgotten this relationship. Perhaps it was with the rise of Western theologies or during the Industrial Revolution, but somewhere as a species we went to war with our planetary partner. We assumed that whatever we did had little or no effect on a big ball of dirt, it was our resource. We forgot she was once our lover, once the source of our wonderment and vitality. We forgot she had a heartbeat. Like any relationship, when one partner ignores the other’s heart long enough, things get shaky, stormy, and hot.Andean Q’ero mystics describe the universe as living energy with which we constantly exchange. Adding to our childlike wonderment, they suggest we form a deliberate, respectful relationship with this energy at large. Ayni ... less

@Tod: if unconditional love were the norm, very little would mat... more@Tod: if unconditional love were the norm, very little would matter because everything would be on track. All of what I post is relative to an imperfect human condition where unconditional love is inherently not yet reached. To map out how to get to point B, it helps to know where you are (point A). And your trip has to proceed accordingly. It would do little good to map and follow a route from Denver to Los Angeles if I'm sitting in Atlanta. So everything is relative to the current human condition. If unconditional love were present, nobody would feel compelled to throw in degrading comments like "ha ha you are a funny guy " Then turn around and say "no no that wasn't what I meant at all" knowing full well what you were feeling when it was written. But those types of comments *are* necessary for those posting them, even though their only intent is to damage, degrade, invalidate, or erode a threatening viewpoint. It is what it is, and that frame of mind is what I'm addressing. That is the frame of mind that will be brought to a collective. Not the ideal of unconditional love. We must deal with what is, and where we are - not hypothetical ideals that could be if only, if only, if only, where all "if only" qualifiers don't yet exist. The only thing that holds a group together is not unconditional love. Perhaps some time in the future, yes, but that's not what I'm addressing because that situation doesn't yet exist. A lot of people apply speculative forward thinking to their daily lives and regardless of how much trouble it causes, they continue doing it. Financial issues are a good example: so-and-so check is going to clear on Thursday so I'll just go ahead and spend the money now. The check does not clear, for whatever reason, and all kinds of problems result. The assumption *appears* to be that melding into a collective will somehow accelerate the arrival of unconditional love or other such similar spiritual advancements: a free springboard ahead. But the reality is that we don't find these things, via shortcuts or any other means. We become them. They are effects, not causes.
Why would any future collective differ from the average work environment of today? Specifically what would suddenly change it? less

An individual without love only limits that individual's experience! Individuality does not imply that you are mono-dimensional. In fact, individuality implies that you love yourself enough to want to go your own path. Individuality has no impact on a group or collective in and of itself. If the only thing that holds a group of individuals together is simply unconditional love of individuality, what does that have to do with control? Unconditional love does not control, it liberates! I wouldn't characterize people's reaction as angry -I think they are merely trying to understand what you are preaching here! If you are an individual, do you limit self through love? I don't think so but I would like to hear your answer.
