how can we start to come together?¿?

  I want to start to come together with like minded people, bringing more conciousness and uniting the power of love......... i dont know how to start it... any ideas. i live in menorca and im imspired to be part of a new movement. any ideas..?

  I've chosen to do this very thing by working within my own community. I've started a program called the Community Peace Project and I'm using it to share information about new ways of being in the world. You can take a look at some of what I share on Facebook (page is called: Community Peace Project). Rather than assume I can find other awakened souls, I am attempting to create an environment where souls can be awakened through love, compassion, and sharing.
  
  I am expanding my program by sharing with my community the information I am finding through videos like those found here. However, because my audience may not be awakened I am careful how and what I present. I don't slap them in the face with metaphysics but rather draw them in with concern for the environment and for their neighbors. A good source for this material has been www.globalonessproject.org.
  
  I hope this gives you some useful ideas.

  There is a website on the Internet that has groups around the world for getting together and spreading the word about raising your consciousness and helping each other with enlightenment and just being a good person. The name of it is called Golden Rule Organization (GRO). You might want to contact someone on that site for assistance. They are definitely trying to spread the word also!!!

  I need some help , The protesters are lost, I need their movement to continue. I need people who believe (really Believe as Belief of so many is what will also cause the coming of Jesus also , i theorize its us that bring good and bad things into our lives ) that the Archangel Gabriel is been with me , I want the Angel to do his thing and get those people fired up and awakened, It takes a lot of energy to help this entity cross over and do it at several cities. If I had help, we could make this happen, I fear losing that energy, those people are standing up at great risk and bravery, they are away from the TV, they can get awakened , If we fail its bad. Shit is about to hit the fan.3 weeks to 3 months till total hard times for Gods Children . Any one notice that the LA Occupy Movement did not get bothered at all, and people were saying there were angels there????? Yup.(my best speculated guess, no one can ever be sure with these things) but i will be correct. so let me know Good night. I check back later.

  Living by example is the Best way to start, then find other groups that work on causes you care about. Network with them, attend events, help them with projects, share what you learn, and continue reaching out any way you can. All we can do is provide the information, it's up to others to take an interest. Some will realize how important this is, some never will.
  
  Helping clean up our environment is an excellent way to put this into action. Without a safe, clean environment, we cannot exist. Every little bit helps. :)

  Greetings, I appreciate your question and agree with what Ariel said about starting with our selves and example. I like the idea of serving the community. Thank you also for the GRO link and everyone here who wants to make a difference!
  
  I think that we need to engage with the world, but only if we can maintain a state of calm, aware presence. I've found that conflict only strengthens the negative energy, which seems to thrive on drama. I've experienced miracles when I've remained silent, aware, and loving while someone spewed hateful words and threats at me. Through no effort of my own, people have come back to their senses and did a complete 180.
  
  I'd like to start a silent meditation group in my area, and was going to use Meetup.com. The only problem I see is when a group of humans gather, even with the best intentions, it can become an ego-fest. I guess we have to try anyway.
